Presented by the VCA in partnership with the Margaret Lawrence Bequest and Melbourne Conversations, the Art of Giving will explore the current status of arts philanthropy in Australia.
The panelists, including Fiona Menzies (CEO of Creative Partnerships Australia), Louise Gourlay (philanthropist), Professor Su Baker (artist and Director of VCA), Willoh S Weiland (Artistic Director of Aphids) and Doug Turek (Managing Director of Professional Wealth) are experienced in giving, asking for and receiving philanthropic funding and will discuss the status of philanthropy in the current Australian arts sector.
The discussion will be facilitated by Alex Furman (Deputy Director of Development, University of Melbourne) from 6.15 - 7pm on Tuesday the 13th of May 2014 at the Grant St Theatre and Lionel's Lounge, Victorian College of the Arts, Grant Street, Southbank.
